The family has a very important role in the treatment of elderly patients with dementia who live at home. Living together with people with dementia is not easy, but it needs special preparation both mentally and environment.   1. The trickiest part that I found with dementia home care is that the mental decline is so gradual, you almost don't realize it is getting worse and worse until it finally becomes so frustrating to deal with. Patience is certainly clear.
